SFPUC launched Electrify My Ride, offering low-income power customers $1,000 off new e-bikes at local shops. The rebate worked—but many equity-priority neighborhoods still weren’t hearing about it or redeeming coupons. D&A was brought in to design an outreach push that met riders where they are. We combined paid social ads, a grassroots digital toolkit for community partners, and a pop-up e-bike event in an equity-priority corridor with on-the-spot application support.
The result: higher coupon redemptions, strong event turnout, and dozens of new, affordable e-bikes on San Francisco streets.
